Frequently asked questions
FAQ
What can I enquire about?
Custom medical models, printer customization, medical-imaging-to-3D modelling, printing equipment, supplies and surgical equipment. Select the relevant area and describe the project.
What does printer customization cover?
Start with the part and workflow. Configuration choices, materials, interfaces, accessories and support are reviewed for feasibility before an agreed technical scope is proposed.
What data is useful for medical 3D modelling?
Suitable original CT or MRI series are a starting point. Modality, completeness, image quality, target anatomy and intended use determine what can be prepared.
Can you work from a single screenshot or X-ray?
An isolated 2D image generally does not contain enough spatial information for faithful volumetric reconstruction. Describe the available source data so suitability can be reviewed.
Is a digital model the same as a printed model?
They are separate deliverables. A digital model can support on-screen presentation; a physical model needs additional material, manufacturing and handling requirements.
Can a model support surgical discussion?
A project-specific digital or physical model may support anatomical discussion and planning workflows. Clinical suitability and interpretation require review by the responsible healthcare professionals.
Can I upload medical images here?
This public form accepts a non-sensitive project description only. Authorization, data scope and a secure transfer process are agreed separately.
Can you prepare batch teaching sets?
Discuss the configuration, replacement modules, number of sets and intended training task. The final scope and quantities are confirmed for the project.
How are specifications and documents confirmed?
Request information for the exact proposed product or system and destination market. A broad product-family description does not establish certification or suitability.
How do I send an enquiry?
Complete the form and select Send enquiry. Your request is emailed to info@maxseas.com. Keep the submission reference; if an error appears, contact us by email. Do not include patient information or medical images.
