Custom medical models
What should I prepare for a custom medical model?
Describe the anatomy, learning task, users, access routes and instruments. Add desired size, number of sets and the structures that need to be visible or handled. Describe available source data without attaching patient information.
Can I request soft tissue feel or transparent areas?
Yes, describe the desired handling, flexibility, layers and visibility. Tissue feel is a project requirement to review against an agreed reference or sample; it is not a universal material specification or a promise of clinical equivalence.
Can a model have replaceable modules or be supplied as teaching sets?
Discuss the practice task, areas expected to wear, attachment method and number of sets. Replaceable sections, supports, assembly and care requirements are agreed as part of the configuration before batch scope is confirmed.
How is a custom model reviewed before a batch?
Agree the anatomy list, exclusions and intended training task first. Name an anatomy reviewer and a handling reviewer. Geometry, material samples where needed, a prototype and any batch reference can then be included in the agreed review plan.
Custom 3D printers
What does printer customization cover?
Start with the intended parts and workflow. Proposed configuration, materials, interfaces, accessories, installation and support are reviewed for feasibility. The final included hardware, software and services need a written scope.
How should I compare printer options or accuracy targets?
Describe the largest part, smallest critical features, material family and required fit or surface. Separate target tolerances from preferences. Ask for a configuration and representative sample review instead of assuming a broad product-family description proves a specific performance figure.
What installation information should a printer enquiry include?
State the destination, available space, operator experience and expected workload. Ask which power, ventilation, material handling, finishing, training and safety provisions apply to the proposed process. Requirements depend on the selected configuration.
Can sample parts help confirm a printer configuration?
Include a non-sensitive sample geometry and identify the critical dimensions or features. Agree the material, preparation and finishing workflow, measurement method and acceptance targets together. Sample review and any changes should be part of the agreed scope.
Medical 3D modeling
Which inputs are useful for medical 3D modeling?
Describe the available CT or MRI series, file format, scan coverage, target structures and intended use. Completeness and suitability need review before modeling is confirmed. The public enquiry accepts a description only, not medical-image files.
Can a single screenshot or ordinary X-ray produce a volumetric model?
An isolated 2D image generally does not contain enough spatial information for faithful volumetric reconstruction. Do not assume every image can become a 3D model. Describe the available data so input suitability and possible scope can be reviewed.
Which digital files can be included, and is printing included?
Agree structures, labels, units, orientation, scale and the required mesh or other file formats. State whether the files support visualization, further design or printing. A digital model and a manufactured physical model are separate deliverables unless both are explicitly included.
How are medical data transfer and anatomy review arranged?
Confirm the data owner's authority and de-identification responsibilities, then agree a separate secure transfer process. Name an authorized anatomy reviewer and record uncertain boundaries, review stages, revision limits and handover checks before work begins.
Projects & enquiries
How do I send a project enquiry?
Choose a service, enter your business contact details and a non-sensitive project description, then select Send enquiry. The website sends it to info@maxseas.com. The form does not accept uploads. Supplies and operating-room equipment can be discussed through the additional product areas.
What happens after a successful submission?
The website shows a reference when the sending service accepts the request. Save it and quote it in follow-up correspondence. Our team reviews the brief and the information needed next. The website does not send an automatic acknowledgement email to you or guarantee a reply time.
What should I do if delivery cannot be confirmed?
Keep your text and any reference shown. Check the message on the page; avoid repeatedly resending an uncertain request. You can contact info@maxseas.com and quote the reference. A failed or blocked request does not show the successful-submission guide.
Are the project templates available in my language?
The website has eight interface languages; the three downloadable project briefs are explicitly English PDFs. Fill and save the relevant file in a PDF reader or print it. The PDF does not send automatically; email a non-sensitive saved brief or summarize it in the form.
How are documents and market requirements confirmed?
State the exact proposed product, intended use and destination. Request model-specific documents and confirm what is available before purchase or supply is agreed. A broad category description does not establish certification, market authorization or suitability for a particular clinical use.
